Design Cell, Delhi is asked to design entry plazas of India's first Formula One track Stadium on the outskirts of Delhi.

The India F1 project is an integral part of a sports city that houses many international sporting events and envisages a huge residential community. It therefore lends an opportunity to look at all public spaces within the F1 site as having the potential to behave differently at different times at the sports city. Size of the proposed plaza is equitable to major public opens spaces in Delhi. The India -New Delhi circuit will be roughly 5.5 kilometers (3.1 miles) and is designed by F1 circuit designer Hermann Tilke. The 10-year contract for the race has been given to the Indian construction company Jaiprakash Associates. Site is part of 1600 acre sports city.
