Won Global Design Competition for Maharashtra Nature Park & Mithi River Bridge

It was a Global Design Competition. The entry was submitted in association with Sameep Padora & Associates and Ratan J Batlibio Consultants Pvt. Ltd. The Maharashtra Nature Park Makeover on the south bank of the Mithi River, has an ambitious objective of inspiring the entire generation of Mumbaikars to respect and embrace nature and move towards greater sustainability through education, awareness and lifestyle choices. The Makeover had several interconnected and interdependent challenges, and it requires a multidisciplinary approach to strike the perfect balance between afforestation and complementary infrastructure. The forest-like environment is clearly the single most important asset of the park that has been nurtured over two decades. Its preservation and significant enlargement must be integral to any makeover.
