Anant Kumar

Anant has completed his diploma in Architectural assistantship from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicap, Kanpur Uttar Pradesh in 2006. He started practice with Gujrals Design Studio at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh as an Assistant Architect he worked on residential architecture, apartments and libraries for high court Lawyers.

He joined Design cell in 2008 and over the years he has worked on the projects from the conceptual stage and overlooked their execution and detailing. A happy person, Anant shares a good bond with his colleagues. He likes reading books and learning new technology

Ashish Bose

Ashish is a Civil Draftsperson certified from Industrial Training Institute, Delhi. He has been with Design Cell since 1997 and has worked on numerous housing, residential and hospitality projects of different scale and size.

Ashish is a sports enthusiast who loves playing outdoor sports like Cricket, Badminton, Football etc. His interests range from music to aquatic life study. King of Pop, Michael Jackson and Late 70s German Band, Boney M are his favorite music artists. He has a hobby of aquarium fishkeeping and studying about aquatic life. Ashish loves spending quality time with his family!

Bahadur Ram

Bahadur has been working with Design Cell as a quantity surveyor since 1998. A graduate from Gorakhpur University and with eight years of prior experience in site execution, Bahadur works on estimation, site supervision, billing, project management, scrutiny of bills, landscape works and cost saving for Design Cell.

Deepa Jindam

Deepa has completed her Masters in landscape architecture from BNCA, Pune in 2020. She is interested in ecologically sensitive projects and in the use of various designing softwares. She actively participates & organizes various events and seminars.

Deepa identifies herself as an outgoing and happy individual, having varied interests like photography and traveling. In her free time, She likes to go on nature trips and explore new places.

Dharmender Rajput

Dharmendra is a graduate from BCA, Kurukshetra University. Since 2015, he has been working with Design Cell on several projects of different scales. He has gained experience in management, team building, professional development, strategic implementation and execution of the project.

Dharmendra has good leadership qualities. He is always willing to help and shares a friendly bond with his colleagues. Dharmendra has keen interest in politics, loves to spend time with his friends and is a travel enthusiast who is always excited to explore new places

Dheeraj Juneja

Dheeraj started his journey at Design Cell in 2003 as a 3d visualizer and has been with us for 18 years now. He is skilled in many visualizing software like Lumion, Sketchup, Photoshop, Indesign etc. and always keeps an eye out for new techniques to produce some very interesting visuals.

Dheeraj is fond of cricket and movies. He is an extremely energetic and wise person. And believe in helping others. He loves to spend his free time with his family.

Divya Kharbanda

Divya Kharbanda holds a postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from the Sushant School of Art and Architecture in Gurugram. As a designer, she exhibits a deep compassion for nature, with her interests focused on exploring the relationship between the environment and human cosmology. An avid animal lover, Divya brings a curious and forward-thinking perspective to the evolution of nature, both for the present and the future.

GS Negi

G.S. Negi completed his diploma in Architecture from Government polytechnic college, Dwarahat, Uttarakhand in 1994 and started practice with landscape architect Surendra Suneja former SPA HOD,Delhi (1995). From 1996 to 2005 He worked as landscape architect with Anjali tiwari kulkarni,New delhi.

He joined Design cell in 2006 and over the years, he has worked on the projects from the conceptual stage, planting plans, handling projects and overlooked their execution and detailing. G.S Negi shares a good bond with his colleagues.

Indranil Das

Indranil is an architect with a deep interest in model making, modelling, sculpting and graphic designing. He likes to learn about modernistic and futuristic architecture and reflect their essence in his works. He may seem shy at first, but he covers up for that with his sharp mind, ability to learn quickly and presents himself with slowly growing confidence. At Design Cell he works on landscape and real estate projects.

His love for travel and culture is reflected with his knowledge of languages like Marathi and Nagamese along with English and Bengali.

Janet Dsouza

Janet is the calm, down to earth and wise employee that every team needs. She studied at SNDT University in Mumbai and has been with Design Cell for the past 10 years. She's exceptional at multitasking and works calmly under pressure as well. Her sweet, motherly personality helps her maintain a great relationship with all her fellow employees! Her optimism is what drives her to work hard under all circumstances.

Her hobbies include singing and gardening, among other things. She's a fine artist and writes beautiful poems. She loves helping people, whether it is through social work or being there for her colleagues. She's a loyal and sincere asset to Design Cell.

M.G.Ragul Gandhi

M.G. Ragul Gandhi, an architect with a passion for sports, has won a bronze medal in the Judo State Championship, competed in state-level javelin throw events, and was a member of the Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation cricket team. His achievements in sports demonstrate his dedication and hard work, qualities he also brings to his architectural practice. Ragul is committed to creating innovative and sustainable designs that meet the needs of his clients.

Manav

Manav joined Design Cell in early 2018 after completing his Masters in Landscape Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal in 2017. He has overseen multi-scale projects from conceptual design to completion. He's known for his quirky and witty personality and shares a good bond with his fellow colleagues.

Manav is a self proclaimed foodie, a music enthusiast and is often found with his nose buried either in books, or creating art on a digital medium.

Manisha Wadhwa

Manisha is a self-motivated and goal-oriented professional, with a broad set of skills. She received her Master's in Landscape Architecture degree from SPA Delhi in 2021 and joined Design Cell. She has progressive and profound experience in research, landscape design, and Graphic Design. She is an enthusiastic, resilient, tenacious individual. She has worked on several projects and is excited to contribute to team success through her ideas and attention to detail.

In her spare time, Manisha loves to hone her talents of portrait sketching, wall painting and improving her skills by learning new software.

Mukta Satarkar

Mukta is a graduate from School of Planning and architecture, Delhi as a landscape architect. She has over 15 years of experience and has been with Design Cell since 2015.

She has a good grip on hand rendered graphics and can effortlessly work under pressure. Over the time she has developed project coordination skills by working on multiple projects simultaneously. Her keen interest in botany has driven her for a specialization in Landscape architecture.

Mukta contributes to charitable organizations with the aim to help them, just as they helped her complete her education.

Netra Palkar

Netra is a landscape architect. Being a nature enthusiast and phytophile by heart, she works on projects that are rooted with ecological sensitivity. Her belief in ‘sustainable values lead to sustainable development’ has led her to be a part of several workshops on permaculture, regenerative landscapes and agroecology. With over 10 years of experience, she handles medium scale institutional projects and competitions within the organization under the guidance of the Principal architects. A hardworking, patient and dependable person that she is, her juniors often approach her for guidance and problem- solving. Netra is happiest when on nature trails and is aspiring for off-grid living along with the several plants that she has collected over the years!

Pankaj Dhalk

Pankaj Dhalk is a Landscape Architect with a Master's degree from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (2020-22). Driven by a vision to elevate human experiences through design, he is dedicated and passionate about his work. Pankaj specializes in incorporating biophilic principles into his projects, aiming to create environments that deeply resonate with people. Whether it's through innovative problem-solving or mastering design software, he strives to ensure that every project journey is fulfilling and rewarding. Known for his sharp focus and attention to detail, Pankaj enjoys traveling and immersing himself in different cultures and places.

Preeti Chhabra

Preeti is working with Design Cell since 2012 as a Front Desk Executive also give assistance in admin and accounts. She is a B.Com graduate from Delhi University. Adaptability is a soft skill that she has which helps her to respond effectively to different working conditions. Her cheerfulness and down to earth attitude helps maintain a good friendship with colleagues.

She loves spending time with kids. She dreams to one day travel across India on Her Scooty- Her Dhanno!

Puja Das

Puja is a humble and hardworking individual with a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from SPA Vijayawada, 2023. Alongside her passion for learning new things, she is also interested in designing recreational spaces such as Waterfront landscape, Streetscapes.

Her enthusiasm for traveling takes her to various destinations with diverse cultures, she enjoys immersing herself in different cultures and experiences. In her Leisure time, Puja indulges in painting and also immerses herself in literature while listening to podcasts.

Rajan V.

Rajan has worked with Design Cell’s offices in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai for over 20 years now. A graduate from Madras University and Landscape Architect from SPA, Delhi, Rajan works on the office’s IT and Hospitality projects. Rajan’s knack for design, detailing and design management is an asset to the firm. His colleagues and juniors describe him as an inspiring person to work with for his ability to allow them an atmosphere of trust and encouragement where they can explore design under his guidance.

Rajan loves to paint, illustrate & run marathons.

Rajat Soni

Rajat pursued his Master’s in Landscape Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi in 2022. A hardworking and aspiring architect, Rajat has worked on several academic, competitions and freelance projects. He is an avid learner and open to exploring new things.

When he isn't found at work, Rajat can be spotted in one of his many natural habitats - nurturing his garden, cooking delicacies, or making petite artworks to decorate his nest.

Rajesh Sharma

Rajesh is a graduate from Delhi University with over 30 years of experience in Administration and IT sector. He has been working with Design Cell since 2004 and has undertaken the responsibility to overlook the studio’s IT and administrative works. He is also adept at handling liaison work. As helpful as he is, Rajesh is the go-to person for everyone whenever in doubt about systems and software.

Rajesh is a foodie and he enjoys cooking experiments from time to time. He likes to travel in his free time as much as possible and also loves catching up on his lost sleep!

RAVINDRA PUNDE, Founder Partner

Ravindra is the co-founder of Design Cell and the principal designer for the master planning, urban design and site planning projects. Under his leadership the firm has maintained a strong commitment to environmentally and culturally sensitive design outcomes. Ravindra's skills in urban design, large urban and detailed scales make him a valuable asset to the firm and clients. He has extensive experience in the coordination of project teams and the master planning, design and documentation of large landscape and urban projects. He has successfully led several national and international competitions for Design Cell.

Ravindra uses his practice as a laboratory to pursue a lifelong interest in architecture and urban design as a living design medium that deepens and enriches people's lives in cities, houses, gardens or elsewhere. Motivated by his context and readings of various Indian philosophers and leaders, Ravindra has always strived to give deeper meaning to all his work and has attempted to create design which contributes to society in a meaningful way. The public realm and the challenge of designing in complex urban design situations is a personal interest of Ravindra. In India, and other parts of world such as the US and Middle East, key urban design issues and concerns were addressed in several architectural and landscape projects. Involvement in the Mumbai International and Domestic Airport, undertaken at Design Cell has exposed him to the various levels of complexities involved in dealing with the urban landscapes.

Ravindra was previously visiting faculty at the Department of Architecture in School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, India. He was the Principal of Academy of Architecture, Mumbai, India from 2010 to 2012.

Santhosh Kumar Thangaraj

Santhosh, a 2018 graduate of Excel College of Architecture & Planning in Salem, is an architect known for his problem-solving skills and quick adaptability to new software and technologies. His commitment to learning emerging tools enhances his expertise in the field. Outside of work, he enjoys video games and traveling, which inspires his creativity. A passionate football enthusiast, Santhosh values teamwork and staying active, making him a well-rounded and versatile professional.

SAVITA PUNDE,Founder Partner

Savita is the co-founder of Design Cell and is the principal designer for landscape design and site planning projects. She has been practicing landscape architecture for more than thirty years and offers vast experience in the master planning and design for variety of landscapes of different scales. Her sensitivity to plant selection and inherent sense of design is underpinned by her personal passion for horticulture. Savita's commitment to indigenous species research, as well as her knowledge of a wide range of native and exotic plants has proved an invaluable asset to the firm. Her interest in graphic representation has led her to maintain a hands-on approach to each of the project presentations.

She is actively involved in promoting the landscape architecture profession in India and also promoting Indian landscape designs internationally. She was the President of the Indian Society of Landscape Architects. She is also a visiting faculty at the Department of Landscape Architecture in School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, India. She is a member of evaluation panel for TERI GRIHA - a non-profit agency evaluating green buildings, an Indian equivalent of USGBC. Savita is also on editorial board of Journal of Landscape Architecture, India.

Shivang Mahajan

Shivang joined the Design Cell team as an architect with a strong belief that architecture plays a vital role in shaping our lives. He emphasizes the importance of considering every small detail meticulously before execution.

With a background in 3D visualization, Shivang possesses strong skills in software such as Revit and Lumion. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) in 2018 and has been gaining valuable professional experience ever since. His career began with three years of dedicated work on conservation projects, and he is now eager to broaden his expertise in Landscape Architecture.

A quick learner with an enthusiastic approach to professional growth, Shivang aims to pursue a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture in the near future. Outside of work, he enjoys dancing, cooking, and immersing himself in good books.

Simrah Zaman

Simrah Zaman graduated from Vastu Kala Academy and brings a keen interest in creating thoughtful, simple designs that respond to everyday life. She enjoys being an active part of the creative process and is constantly eager to learn and grow through each project. Her design approach is rooted in observing how people truly interact with spaces, believing that meaningful design emerges from these lived experiences.

Beyond work, Simrah finds inspiration in books, films, and travel—pursuits that fuel her curiosity and keep her creatively engaged.

Tanushri Kundu

Tanushri completed her undergraduate studies in Architecture from SCOA, Pune, in 2024. With a patient and persevering nature, she brings a sharp eye for landscapes and a thoughtful design approach. Tanushri is driven by determination, eloquence, and artistic flair, consistently exploring new ideas and evolving design spaces. Her passion for sketching, photography, and travel enriches her creative outlook and informs her architectural sensibilities.

Vignesh Babu

Vignesh graduated from School of Architecture, Coimbatore and has since been working with Design Cell. He has been described as an enthusiastic and hard working person by his colleagues. Vignesh likes to learn new things and is always willing to learn new things. In his free time, he likes to play various sports, read and cook for his family and friends.

Vijayan Pillai

Pillai ji, as he is fondly called, is Design Cell’s accountant and administrative consultant. In his 31 years working with the firm, he has managed the books of the firm, including filing returns, handling bank work, etc. A trusted person to manage smooth functioning of tasks handed to him, Pillai ji ensures that he does his best to meet his deadlines and is hence often called the backbone of the firm.

He loves to garden in his free time and enjoys looking at the product of his labour.
